During the winter break, a group of XMU students, including one from CFLC, embarked on a University admissions promotion drive at their alma mater – Baiyin No. 10 High School in Gansu Province, as part of their social-application program. With the strong support of the school and the concerted efforts of all members of the group, the admissions promotion drive proved to be a great success.

In order to present Xiamen University in the best way possible, the XMU students had made meticulous preparations and worked out details for every step of the promotion drive.

At the Baiyin No. 10 High School, the CFLC students distributed leaflets, put up posters and conducted lectures, enabling the high school students to gain a deeper understanding of XMU and inspiring interest in XMU. They spoke to many individual students in the high school, sharing their study experience and cheering the students on for the upcoming the National College Entrance Examination (NCEE).

On the afternoon of January 27, in the lecture hall of the high school, the CFLC students gave a presentation on XMU’s benchmark NCEE scores for admissions, programs of study, student life, academic traditions and campus scenery. The presentation was followed by a Q&A session.
